See for yourself

Beginning in 2001, we have created a set of 4 Market Maps that you can use to gain a clear view of the structure and operations of the Australian electricity market – on the west coast (the IMO-WA market) and the east coast (the NEM).

We've not yet completed the development of the 2011 issue of the
						Power Supply Schematic.

As you can see in the sample image provided, our Power Supply Schematic (PSS) Market MapTM been designed to provide an excellent overview of the physical infrastructure supporting Australia's electricity supply industry, and the companies (generators, transmission and distribution providers) who own these assets.

Special focus is also provided to the many 1000's of MW of generation capacity that is currently the focus of generation development efforts by many companies, including many potential wind farm developments.

We've not yet completed the development of the 2011 issue of the
						Power Trading Schematic.

The Power Trading Schematic (PTS) Market MapTM, is used in parallel with the Power Supply Schematic to provide the complete picture (in only 2 pages) of the structure of the Australian Electricity Supply Industry.

In the same way that the PSS clarifies the physical structure of the industry, the Power Trading Schematic clarifies who's who in the (wholesale and retail sectors of the) Australian electricity market.

The Power Pictorial History (PPH) Market MapTM can be your 1-page summary of the key outcomes of trading in the market - an excellent way for you to keep from being overloaded with the large volume of data produced in the market.

All data is presented in a clear geographical framework for added ease of use.

With the issue of generator market power being so topical, we developed the Generator Market Share (GMS) Market Map to highlight the relative size of each of the generation companies operating across Australia - relative to each other, and the size of the market as a whole.
